HODGDON, Maine — The 1979 Hodgdon girls basketball team will reunite on Saturday, July 6, at 4 p.m. at the Hodgdon High School gymnasium to commemorate their 40th anniversary. The informal event is open to the public.
The 1979 girls varsity squad was coached by Roger Sherman and finished a perfect season with a 20-0 record to become the first Eastern Maine Class C girls’ team to bring the state crown to Eastern Maine.
