PRESQUE ISLE, Maine — The Presque Isle Middle School boys track and field team ended its 2019 season with an Aroostook County championship.
Coaches Ron McAtee and Joe Greaves reported the boys had “a great season,” remaining undefeated in all four of their meets and capping off their success with the County championship, which they won by 2 points.
The coaches said it was a total team effort, with points scored from sixth-, seventh- and eighth-grade athletes.
In the championship meet, 31 of the 74 entries scored a personal best in time or distance.
