CARIBOU, Maine — Jarryd M. Rossignol, DO, has returned home to Aroostook County and began seeing patients the week of July 29 at the Pines Presque Isle Family Health Center, located at 66 Spruce St.
“The addition of Dr. Rossignol to the Pines Health team allows us to expand our high quality primary health services, specifically to our patients in the communities of Presque Isle and Fort Fairfield who may not currently have a health care home,” said Pines’ chief operating officer Lisa Caron.
“Dr. Rossignol grew up in The County, and it was his desire to return home to practice medicine after completing his schooling and residency program in Montana. We are ecstatic to welcome him back home.”
In his new role as a family practice provider, Rossignol will be in Presque Isle Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays, and will see patients on Wednesdays at the Kimball Community Health Center in Fort Fairfield.
He received his bachelor of science degree in pre-medical biology and his doctor of osteopathic medicine degree from the University of New England in Biddeford. He recently completed his residency with Montana Family Residency program at Riverstone Health in Billings, Montana, where he was named most outstanding family practice resident of the year.
In his spare time Dr. Rossignol enjoys outdoor activities in all four seasons, including camping and fly fishing to name a few. He also enjoys playing his electric guitar and has interest in researching historical biographies.
Most importantly, he is spending time with his wife, Shannon, and their young son, Caspian, and this fall the family will welcome twin boys.
