OAKFIELD, Maine — The Oakfield Seniors Citizens met Wednesday, July 17 for their regular gathering. The business meeting was called to order by President Alberta McDonald, following another delicious potluck luncheon.
The Lord’s Prayer then the salute to the flag were recited. The usual reports were read and accepted by the members. Judy Williams was the lucky 50/50 winner.
The group then played an exciting game of ring toss and found out they needed a lot of practice. After some trial tosses several did make a ringer.
Attending were Alberta McDonald, Jann Votaw, Arlene Friel, Don and Charlotte Marley, Bernice Campbell, Wannetta Townsend, George Barrow, Kathleen Boutilier, Iona Nadeau, Juanita Russell, Earl and Lottie Doughty, Mildred Gagnon and Judy Williams.
Our next meeting will be on Aug. 7.
