MARS HILL, Maine — The third meet of the season is now in the record books for the Upper St. John Valley Senior Ladies Golf association. The group’s next meet is at Caribou Country Club on Aug. 7.
Played under sunny skies and nice temperatures at the Mars Hill Country Club Wednesday, July 24, the results were as follows:
Division D — First gross, Dottie Fitgerald (Caribou Country Club), 121; second gross, Joy Ivey (VaJoWa), 122; and third gross, Marion Collins (Houlton Country Club), 123. First net, Ginny Benner (CCC), 81; second net, Jennifer Metzer (VaJoWa), 83; and third net, Pat Rathburn (Aroostook Valley Country Club), 85.
Division C — First gross, Joan McCue (CBCC), 103; second gross, Linda Kinney, (MHCC), 105; and third gross, Jane Umphrey, (CCC), 107. First net, Diane Mailhiot (AVCC), 71; second net, Raymonde Smith, (Grand Falls Country Club), 72; and third net, Brenda Carmen (HCC), 72.
