PATTEN, Maine — The town of Patten is once again celebrating its heritage as part of the annual Patten Pioneer Days.
Held from Saturday, Aug. 3 to Sunday, Aug. 11, a variety of popular events are returning for this year’s celebration including horseshoe tournaments, frog jumping contest, coed softball tourneys, and the always popular bean-hole supper at the Patten Lumbermen’s Museum.
The Main Street parade takes place 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 10, starting at the corner of Houlton and Station streets and winding its way through downtown Patten.
