AMITY, Maine — The Maine State Police say a missing Amity man who was the subject of a Silver Alert Friday morning, has been located.
According to a post on the Maine State Police’s Facebook page, 72-year-old Arthur Hill had been missing from his home on 222 Tracy Road in Amity since 2 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 8. He was located Friday around noon. No further details were given by police.
Hill, who is described as a 5-foot, 11-inch tall white male weighing about 230 pounds with a bald man, reportedly stated he was going to Danforth to pick up his boat, but never returned.
He was last seen driving a red 2015 Ford F-150 truck with a Florida license plate KQKU93. Police believe he was last spotted on a bridge in the Belfast area around 10:24 p.m.
