EASTON, Maine — The Francis Malcolm Science Center in Easton will open its 36th season at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 14, with the dynamic planetarium presentation “Two Small Pieces of Glass.”
This hourlong, family-friendly, digital all-sky program investigates the world of telescopes. The audience will learn how telescopes work, what they can see, and how professional astronomers rely upon them to explore and explain the wonders of the Universe.
Following the program, weather permitting, participants will study the stars, planets and full moon from the Science Center deck.
All are welcome you to bring their own telescopes as well.
