HOULTON, Maine — The annual Houlton Elks Soccer Shoot takes place Sunday, Sept. 22 at the Houlton Middle-High School soccer field. Registration starts at 12:30 p.m. and the competition begins at 1 p.m.
The competition is open to boys and girls 13 and younger from throughout southern Aroostook County. Participants are broken up into age groups (7 and younger, 8-9, 10-11 and 12-13) for both boys and girls.
Parents or guardians must bring a copy of their child’s birth certificate during the registration process.
The first place finishers in each age group advances to the district competition with a chance to move on to the state and New England competitions.
