CARIBOU, Maine — A water pump and pressure tank stolen from a Kelley Road residence was found by the owner’s son on Sept. 24, according to the Caribou Police Department.
Police first issued a request for public assistance on Sept. 21, urging members of the public to call Sgt. Keith Ouellette if they saw any suspicious activity regarding a stolen pump in the area.
The owner of the tank later called on Sept. 24, saying that his son had found the pump on the side of the Green Ridge Road, located a few miles away from the Kelley Road, in the morning.
As of Sept. 25, the case is still under investigation as the owner did not see the theft occur and his son also did not see anyone near the pump after finding it on Tuesday.
