PRESQUE ISLE, Maine — The Aroostook County Extension Association will hold its annual meeting on Thursday, Nov. 7, 2019 at the Aroostook Shrine Club in Presque Isle.
The business meeting will be preceded by a social time at 5:30 p.m. and dinner at 6 p.m. Cost of the dinner is $5 per person/children free and reservations are required. The theme for the night will be celebrating Cooperative Extension’s “Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program (EFNEP) – 50 Years” and celebrating 4-H annual achievements.
Kate Yerxa, Statewide EFNEP Coordinator, will be the guest speaker. The event will celebrate Extension activities with a brief presentation of Aroostook County highlights and programs offered this past year by the Aroostook Cooperative Extension staff, along with presentation of awards and election of board members and officers.
The program and meeting are open to the public.
