The Mapleton Daze annual Fall Craft and Vendor Fair on Oct. 12 was rated a success with a large number of buyers attending the event.
Lynelle Foster, Mapleton Daze president, thanked everyone who attended and made a purchase. Crafters and vendors were happy with the large crowds that came out to see and purchase their wares. This 2020 Mapleton Daze fundraiser had everything from homemade potato chips to jewelry to home decorations to live rabbits and chickens.
The Mapleton Daze Fall Craft and Vendor Fair’s greeter this year was Bub Nadeau with his many flavors of homemade potato chips. He was extremely happy with the large turnout of customers for the event.

The next Mapleton Daze craft fair will be held in the spring.
Ridge Runners start season
Susan Maynard from the Chapman Ridge Runner Snowmobile and ATV Club announced the club held its Oct. 17 planning meeting. She thanks everyone who came out for the evening session and reminded members that November will be an active month for the club.
November 8 and 9 will be the be yard/craft sale at the clubhouse from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Donations of items for the sale will be needed.
November 13, Wednesday, at 6:30 p.m. there will be a directors’ meeting.
November 16, Saturday, at 6 p.m., the Landowner Turkey Supper will be held. This is free to members who have paid their membership fees, and free to all landowners. If you plan to attend, then let Susan know at 764-1236. You must RSVP in order to attend.

First Friday Lunch
The monthly First Friday Luncheon at the Mapleton Methodist Church is scheduled for Friday, Nov. 1, at 11:30 a.m.
Newly harvested potatoes may be on the menu for those friends and neighbors who will be in attendance. The chefs are planning an enjoyable lunch for everyone. While the food is always delicious, the real joy is being with long-time friends as well as making new friends and sharing family updates, stories and memories.
Remember there is no charge for the lunch, but donations will be accepted.
