HOULTON, Maine — An RSU 29 school bus carrying pre-kindergarten students was involved in a collision with another vehicle Friday, Nov. 22, shortly after 11 a.m.
The school bus, operated by Joyce Folsom of Houlton, was attempting to make a left-hand turn from High Street onto Weeks Street when it struck an automobile waiting at the stop sign, Police Chief Tim DeLuca said.
The second vehicle, a 2016 GMC sedan, was owned and operated by Amy Hagerman of Houlton. Hagerman’s vehicle received extensive damage to the front passenger side.
No injuries were reported. The students were transferred to a second bus and continued on their way.
