HOULTON, Maine — The Gentle Memorial Building, which serves as the home for the Houlton Recreation Department, is the place to be for a number of holiday activities.
Holiday Fun Nights for Grades PreK to Grade 5 will be held 5:30-7 p.m. Fridays, Dec. 6 and Dec. 13. Come enjoy an evening of fun with games, crafts and snacks. Registration is required as this is a limited space activity.
An Afternoon with Santa for children up to Grade 5 will be held 1:30-3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 7. Mrs. Claus will also be on hand to greet the children. Join us for an afternoon of snacks, drinks and crafts. The cost is $3 per child. Parents are reminded to bring their cameras.
A “Vacation Fun Program” for Grades Pre-K to Grade 6 will be held from 9-11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 27, Monday, Dec. 30, and Tuesday, Dec. 31. Each day will be filled with games, crafts and contests. The cost is $5 per child per day. This program is limited to 24 youth so pre-registration is required by Dec. 20.
