Cary Auxiliary members personally donate gifts and handmade items for the New Year’s baby basket, which includes items for the baby and for the parents. Auxiliary members have coordinated this project and made personal donations for over the last decade to the first baby of the new year at the hospital.

Crafters from the Crown of Maine Quilters have also donated a beautiful handmade quilt for the New Year’s baby, a longstanding tradition from the quilting group.

With about 20 active members, the Cary Medical Center Auxiliary continues to thrive, supporting the hospital by hosting various fundraisers with proceeds supporting many of the hospital’s projects.
