To the editor:
Recently I was a patient at Houlton Regional Hospital with a serious illness that required emergency room treatment as well as a hospital stay for several days.
I want to take this opportunity to thank every single person from ER technicians, nurses, doctors, aides and everyone else for the very kind courteous, compassionate and professional help and treatment I received as a patient.
As a former patient, I can honestly tell you that this community is blessed to have this hospital and all of its personnel serving Houlton and this region.
I would also like to thank the emergency response members of the Oakfield Fire Department for their response as well.
