EASTON, Maine — The first round of the 2020 Scripps National Spelling Bee was held at the Easton Junior/Senior High School gymnasium on Jan. 9.
The Easton School Department congratulated the winner, Madison Bridges, and runner-up, Alexander Hale.
Bridges and Hale will represent their school later this year at the Aroostook County Spelling Bee, the date and location of which are yet to be announced.
