OAKFIELD, Maine — After several snowstorms, the Oakfield Seniors Club were able to gather at the Smoki-Haulers clubhouse for the only meeting in January.
After a delicious potluck luncheon. President Alberta McDonald called the business meeting to order. All reports were read and accepted. The Life Skills class at Southern Aroostook will be hosting a free dinner at the Oakfield Snowsled Clubhouse Wednesday, Jan. 22, at 11 a.m. for Senior Citizens. Come and support these students and enjoy a delicious meal.
New officers were elected for 2020. Elected were president Alberta McDonald, vice president Jann Votaw, secretary Charlotte Marley and treasurer Donald Marley. Jann Votaw was the 50/50 winner this week.
For the next meeting please bring a Valentine’s Day card and we will enjoy pizza for the luncheon.

The Oakfield Seniors meet on the first and third Wednesday of each month at the Smoki-Haulers Clubhouse in Oakfield at 11 a.m. for a potluck luncheon followed by a business meeting and entertainment.
