CARIBOU, Maine –The Aroostook County grand jury met for its last session of the year, indicting 30 people from across the region.
Drug and domestic violence crimes dominated the list, District Attorney Todd Collins said on Thursday, as well as crimes that were allegedly committed to procure drugs.
Just this week, the Maine Medical Examiner’s Office announced that drug overdose deaths in the state appear to be on the rise again after a slight decline in 2018.
The indictment list included:

Corey McCarthy, 31, Bridgewater, unlawful furnishing of drugs, unlawful possession (two counts).
Kevin Page, 57, Hancock, unlawful furnishing of drugs, unlawful trafficking, criminal forfeiture.
Dale E. Barrows, 27, Oakfield, unlawful possession of drugs, possession of a firearm by a prohibited person.
