Rylee Cassidy recently traveled to Augusta to test for the U.S. Figure Skating Association in both pre-preliminary free skate and pre-preliminary moves in the field. Rylee passed both tests.
The U.S. Figure Skating test structure is the backbone of participation in figure skating. Passing these tests is considered one of the first major accomplishments of being a figure skater. Each official U.S. Figure Skating test a skater passes is a permanent achievement that goes on their U.S. Figure Skating record.
Happy Days Club to host pizza party
The Easton Seniors Happy Days Club’s second meeting of February will be held Thursday, Feb. 27, with a pizza meal provided for lunch starting at 11:30 a.m. in the Recreation Room at the Manor.

Bone Builders class
The Easton senior Bone Builders Class is held Mondays and Fridays from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m.
The Retired Senior Volunteer Program’s Bone Builders is a free exercise program designed to prevent and help reverse the effects of osteoporosis. The volunteer leader is Julia Allen.
Science Center event
Have you ever wanted to plan your own Alaskan adventure? On Saturday, March 7, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., join Eric and Elaine Hendrickson on their Alaskan tour of remote places beyond the Arctic Circle, on the edge of glaciers, along the Klondike Trail and the waters of the Kenai Fjord.
Through photos, narrative and helpful tips, you can begin planning your own amazing trip to “the last frontier.”
Following this hour long program, join the group for a 60-minute moonlight snowshoe hike in the woods across from the Center. Snow shoes will be available. Please bring a flashlight or headlamp. The price is $5 per person, per event ($10 for both).

The Town of Easton will host the annual budget committee hearing at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 25 at the Odd Fellows Hall.
