PRESQUE ISLE, Maine — United Airlines announced Wednesday that, beginning Monday, May 4, it will make a significant change to its daily schedule at Presque Isle International Airport, with all flights traveling to and arriving from Washington-Dulles International Airport.
This schedule change is being made to provide for shorter connections for air travelers making connections at Washington-Dulles, according to a statement from Presque Isle city officials..
United has published the following schedule, seven days a week, for one departure from and one arrival to the local airport. Each day a fight will depart Presque Isle at 2 p.m. and arrive at Washington-Dulles at 4:23 p.m. A flight will depart Washington-Dulles at 5:40 p.m. and arrive in Presque Isle at 7:55 p.m.
