CARIBOU, Maine — Pines Health Services has announced that Dr. Justin Salerno has joined its team of obstetrics and gynecological care providers.
Salerno attended Syracuse University, earning his bachelor’s degree in biology. He then furthered his education attending New York Medical College in Valhalla, New York, where he earned his doctorate of medicine. He completed his internship and residency in OB/GYN at George Washington University Medical Center in Washington, D.C.
Prior to joining the team at Pines Health Services and Cary Medical Center, Dr. Salerno was an OB/GYN hospitalist at San Antonio Medical Center in Upland, California.
“Dr. Salerno is a dynamic and caring physician who is providing excellent care and services to our patients. He brings over 35 years of obstetric and gynecological care to Aroostook County residents,” said Lisa Caron, Pines chief operating officer.
“Dr. Salerno has been a leader in his specialty, introducing innovative procedures in the field of pelvic reconstruction, incontinence surgery and outpatient gyn endoscopic surgery. He will be seeing patients at Pines Women’s and Children’s Health Center, located on the Cary Medical Center campus, and is currently welcoming patients in need of obstetric and gynecological care,” said Caron.
Salerno is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology.
