CARIBOU, Maine — Pines Health Services has announced that Connor native Brandi Rossignol, FNP-C, has joined the Pines team.
“Pines is extremely pleased to have Brandi joining our team of providers,” said Pines Chief Operating Officer Lisa Caron. “Brandi brings over six years of nursing experience to her new role here at Cary and Pines. In addition to her clinical experience, she has familiarity of our local communities and its residents,” said Caron.
Rossignol completed her associates’ degree in nursing at Northern Maine Community College, and completed an accelerated program through The University of Maine at Fort Kent for her bachelor’s degree, before obtaining her family nurse practitioner degree through Walden University.
In her new role as a family nurse practitioner, she will be sharing her time and specialties at both Cary and Pines. She will see patients for primary care two days per week at the Caribou Health Center, located on the Access Highway in Caribou, and will also assist with care in the emergency room at Cary Medical Center.
Rossignol began seeing patients on Monday, Aug.3.
Family nurse practitioners are advanced practice registered nurses with specialized educational and clinical training in family practice, who serve as primary healthcare providers either autonomously or in conjunction with physicians. Family nurse practitioners work with patients throughout their lives, diagnosing illness, conducting exams and prescribing medication.
Rossignol currently resides in Connor. In her spare time she enjoys outdoor activities, traveling and spending time with her German Shepherd, Riggs.
