I have a lot of friends that love dogs as much as I do. We always “dog talk” daily and laugh at the funny antics our dogs will do and the things we think our dogs would say if they could talk.
I have a yorkie poo who wakes up wanting to play and goes to bed wanting to play. While I am drinking my coffee in my favorite chair, reclining back relaxing, she is doing what I call her popcorn move. She jumps and puts her little paws on the end of the recliner, and all I see is her head, then she goes down and back up. It’s like she is playing peek-a-boo. What she really wants is for me to throw her toy for her. This makes me laugh every time.
My other little dog is a talker. When he is ready to go to bed, you’d better be ready, too, because he won’t stop sassing you until you get up and say, “You ready for bed?”
These little critters make us smile and laugh every day they are with us. They are part of our family and we treat them that way.
I was on the internet this week and came across an article, “Elite Daily,” by Rachel Chapman. She had listed some pretty funny captions for your dog’s Instagram that’ll instantly have you LOLing. I thought I would share a few with you.
“I just met you, and this is crazy, but here’s my squeak toy. Throw it, maybe.”
“’m so paw-fect, love me fur-ever.”
“I’m ready to paw-ty.”
“If you’ve had a ruff day, I’m here to maker you feel better.”
“Sometimes they call me ‘Getbackhere.’”
“Oh yeah, that’s the spot.”
“Wait a minute……this isn’t the park.”
“I Shih Tzu not.”
“I deserve to be on the cover of Vanity Fur.”
“I will always woof you.”
“I’ll steal your heart like I steal your side of the bed.”
“dUgh, here comes the pup-arazzi again.”
If you are looking for a furry friend, and think now is the time to bring that cat or dog into your home, check out the Central Aroostook Humane Society Facebook page for available pets up for adoption. Betsy and her staff have some awesome animals, looking for their “furever” home.
