To the editor:
As a small business owner and fellow County girl, I am incredibly proud to be represented by Senator Susan Collins in Washington.
Susan has served us well and with dignity over the last 24 years, and it’s abundantly clear that she cares deeply about the people she represents and is respected by her peers in the U.S. Senate.
2020 has been an increasingly divisive and challenging year, but throughout this tough time, Senator Collins has shined. Instead of retreating to partisan corners, she brought people together for the greater good and was able to deliver billions of dollars to our small state to help us get through the COVID shutdowns, and she’s still down in Washington working towards additional relief today. That’s remarkable, considering how shutdowns have affected the work being done not only at the Federal level but the State level as well. Senator Collins has not stopped her work for the people of Maine, for even a moment.
Collaboration has always been Senator Collins’ strong suit, and it’s why we need to continue to support her. What she has brought to Maine is immeasurable, never before seen in the history of Maine politics. Why would we give this up?
She has embodied the Aroostook County work ethic and grit, so please join me in voting for her this election.
