WASHBURN, Maine — Principal Larry Worcester, along with the staff of Washburn District High School, have announced Jacob Snyder as Student of the Month for October.
Snyder is a sophomore at WDHS and the son of Greg Snyder.
He is known as a hard worker. After school, he is often found working with his family, whether it be cutting wood, building a cabin, or learning mechanics. He has brought this hard work ethic into the classroom.
Instructor Mrs. Hemphill said, “Jacob is very responsible and does all his work in a timely manner. He is pleasant and polite and never seems to have a bad day.” The school congratulated Snyder on a continued job well done.
