The Maine Public Broadcasting System will air “Christmas Greetings From Aroostook” on Christmas Eve at 8 p.m. and Christmas Day at 3 p.m. for viewers this holiday season.
“It has been so sad this year in Aroostook County to have nearly all our holiday events cancelled,” said filmmaker, Brenda Jepson, of Madawaska Lake. “But thankfully many of these Yuletide traditions have been captured on film so that folks can still tune in and enjoy them — from the Caribou Choral Society to the Heavenly Harpers of Houlton.”
“Christmas Greetings From Aroostook” has been broadcast on Maine PBS for 12 years now and remains a perennial favorite during the Christmas season. Events from all corners of The County featuring revelers of all ages bring the Christmas spirit alive.
