Houlton’s Monument Lodge No. 96 made a $1,000 donation the Houlton Area Backpack for Kids project Friday, Jan. 22.
Making the presentation are Jodi Anderson (left) representing the Masons, and Jerry Wilson of the Houlton United Methodist Church. The purpose of the Backpacks for Kids program is to feed children in need in Greater Houlton area by providing backpacks filled with food items.
