PRESQUE ISLE, Maine — The Northeast Society for Human Resource Management donated $1,000 in December to the Homeless Services of Aroostook.
The society meets once per month to talk about legislative updates that affect the business they represent. Guest speakers address policy templates, advice and trends.
The group also hosts an annual human resources and law conference and oversees a scholarship fund.
Each December the group holds a breakfast meeting, during which they choose to donate to a nonprofit entity. This year, the Homeless Services of Aroostook was chosen.
