To the editor:
Last week I had a COVID-19 vaccine at NMCC. What a great experience.
Being a salesman for most of my working days I traveled a lot of the country. I have attended numerous meetings, conventions, seminars, etc. Until today I always believed Valdosta, Georgia, was the most sociable, hospitable, friendly place I had ever visited, with their Southern hospitality.
Today I learned it wasn’t only in Georgia, but found a rewarding reception at the NMCC/A.R. Gould Hospital COVID-19 clinic.
We were guided right from the street through, during and after the shot, with, “Thank you for coming,” “Do you have any questions or can we help you with anything else?” It was a complete joy during the whole function.
Being nervous before entering the parking lot I very shortly felt a completely-at-ease feeling.
Thank you to all those who participated for my benefit and for many others. A special thank you to A.R. Gould and NMCC.
I am looking forward to my next shot with great hopes. It has been a long stay at home these past 10 months.
