CARIBOU, Maine — The Caribou boys claimed a 14-point overall victory during a 5K Classical cross country ski race held in Caribou on Feb. 9. Madawaska also had the best score for the girls, with a total of 27 points.
Caribou High School Athletic Director Evan Graves said it was “great to host the race and see student athletes competing and working hard outdoors and in the fresh air.”
The boys team scores were 1, Caribou, 14; 2, Madawaska, 32; and 3, Ashland, 42. Girls team scores were 1, Madawaska, 27; 2, Caribou, 29; 3, Presque Isle, 33; 4, Ashland, 52.
