HOULTON, Maine — A Houlton woman charged with aggravated trafficking of scheduled drugs, along with violating the conditions of her release, was among 57 indictments handed up for judicial review by an Aroostook County Grand Jury in February.
Ashley Belyea, 33, was arrested by Houlton police in November following a routine traffic stop that revealed alleged illegal drug activity. The officers reported they found the narcotic drug fentanyl in a hidden storage container, along with more than $7,000 in cash. Drug-related materials and paraphernalia also were allegedly found during the search.
