Hodgdon rallies past Southern Aroostook in rainy opener

HODGDON, Maine — The Hodgdon baseball team rallied from a two-run deficit in the fifth inning to secure a 7-6 season-opening victory over Southern Aroostook Monday afternoon, April 26.

The Hawks scored three runs in the bottom of the seventh to post the victory in a rainy game played at Hodgdon.

For Hodgdon, Elijah Matheson reached base safely three times and scored three runs. Austin Winslow got the win on the mound and reached base safely three times and scored to help his cause. 

For Southern Aroostook, Chris Caswell doubled, singled twice, was hit by a pitch, and scored twice for the Warriors.
