On Saturday, the Ryan Wright Memorial Scramble was held. Porter Gervais and Josh McGuire finished first. Second place was Ben Lynds and Jim Quirk. Third place was Ben and Kody Tuttle. Even though there was some rain during play, everyone had a great time.
Over $2,200 was raised toward the Ryan Wright Memorial Scholarship, thank you to all that contributed.

In our quest to recognize the many valuable volunteers that HCGC is so thankful for, we move to Jerry York, our longest-standing board member. York spearheaded the establishment of the Golf for Life program in 2016 which has been integral in growing our membership. He has also been the primary organizer of two recent fundraising efforts to buy much-needed equipment, make course improvements, and support the GFL program. On top of that, York chairs the business committee, works on the volunteer days, helps out with tournaments and does just about anything else we ask of him. Thanks Jerry!
