PRESQUE ISLE, Maine — Troy Heald, CIC, AINS, Northern Aroostook district manager for F.A. Peabody Insurance is pleased to announce the promotion of Leeann Thornton, ACSR, to sales agent for the Central Aroostook area. Thornton is originally from Indian Township and currently resides in Presque Isle.
She started at F.A. Peabody in March 2021, with previous experience in the insurance industry. She says, “As an outside sales agent I hope to deliver valuable risk management guidance and quality insurance products to businesses and individuals throughout the State of Maine. More importantly, I hope to build professional relationships with our customers by providing outstanding service.”
Heald states, “In Leeann’s relatively short time with F.A. Peabody, she has demonstrated an ability to provide her clients with the appropriate advice and coverage they need and desire. She has demonstrated a strong desire to improve her skills by achieving the Accredited Customer Service Agent designation and intends to pursue the Certified Insurance Counselor designation as well. She has the ability to connect exceptionally well with people and that, combined with her growing knowledge, will meet the immediate needs of clients, and will serve as a constant resource for them as their insurance circumstances change.”
