Are you looking for fun and adventure in your life? An escape from the monotonous dregs of the daily grind? Well, look no further — Presque Isle Recreation and Parks has lots of great outdoor opportunities for all ages this winter.
Kids want to ski or snowboard? No problem. We’re partnering up with BigRock to make it so.
Into Nordic skiing? We’re into that, too. Kids will have boat loads of fun at our full and early-release day programs, and our snowshoe adventures. You best believe we’ll be doing some sliding.
We’ll also be maintaining an outdoor skating rink at Mantle Lake Park, and a small Nordic ski circuit right across from the Sargent Family Community Center that will be perfect for kids and beginners.
We are soon to have not one, but two vans ready for any adventure. Like food? Then don’t forget about our Breakfast Bus and Lunch Voyage trips. They’re a perfect way to meet new friends, enjoy great company, and appreciate some fantastic County chow.
Maybe you’re looking for a ride to the slopes on Thrifty Thursday? Well, holy smokes, pardner, we can hook you up faster than you can get yourself into a yard sale.
