HOULTON, Maine – A high-energy juggler and comedian will be helping two local groups raise money for different causes.

Jason Tardy, a professional juggling artist, will be making appearances at both the Mill Pond Elementary School in Hodgdon and the Southern Aroostook Agricultural Museum on April 14 and 15 respectively.

The Hodgdon performance will serve as a fundraiser for the after school program, while the Littleton show will benefit the town’s playground committee.

Mill Pond School’s show takes place Thursday, April 14, at 6 p.m. The Southern Aroostook Agricultural Museum show happens Friday, April 15 at 6 p.m. Tickets are $7 and children under three are free.

Tardy’s show is a combination of many years of relentless practice, and as he puts it, “virtually no social life.”  His show includes innovative choreographed juggling to music, fitting his body through a tennis racket, comedy, audience participation and stunts, like standing on a yoga ball while juggling an ax, a spiked mace, and a toilet plunger.

His multifaceted training, and over 27 years of experience in the performing arts has brought him all over the U.S. and abroad. Some highlights include Disney cruise ships, the Atlantis Resort in the Bahamas, the Golden Phoenix Casino, and even The White House in Washington DC three times.
