Fourth-grade students in Brittany Morrison’s class at Eva Hoyt Zippel Elementary School in Presque Isle visit with Maine Senate President Troy Jackson,Superintendent Ben Greenlaw, SAD 1 School Board Chair Lucy Richards, Principal Chris Hallett, Brittany Morrison, Mandy Graham, Christine Blaikie and Melanie Junkins.
Jackson was invited to visit the school’s Maine Room, a classroom devoted to teaching fourth-grade students science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) curriculum using natural resources, wildlife and industries found in Maine.
