CARIBOU, Maine – The Presque Isle boys and girls track squads both finished third at a County meet held at Caribou High School Saturday, May 7.
Scoring points for the Presque Isle boys track team were: Josh Keiser: 100 Meter Dash (3rd place), 200 Meter Dash (6th place); Jack Lamoreau: 100 Meter Dash (5th place), 200 Meter Dash (5th place); Brayden Castonguay: 800 Meter Run (3rd place); and Malachi Cummings: 110 Meter Hurdles (1st place), Javelin (3rd place);
In addition, Ben Willey: 110 Meter Hurdles (5th place), 300 Meter Hurdles (3rd place); Brent Greenlaw: High Jump (4th place); Ben Turner: High Jump (5th place), Triple Jump (4th place); Jonah Roy: Pole Vault (2nd place); Quinn Demerchant: Pole Vault (3rd place), Discus (5th place); Issac Staples: Pole Vault (4th place); Xavier McAtee: Shot Put (1st place), Discus (1st place), Javelin (4th place);
Finishing the 4×100 Meter Relay in 6th place was the team of Josh Keiser, Cole Nadeau, Chris Nelson, and Brent Greenlaw.
The team of Brayden Castonguay, Jonah Roy, Josh Keiser, and Ezra Leach finished the 4×400 Meter Relay in fourth place.
Scoring points for the PIHS girls squad were: Addison Clairmont: 400 Meter Dash (5th place); Anna Jandreau: 800 Meter Run (2nd place); Jayden Harvell: 100 Meter Hurdles (2nd place), 300 Meter Hurdles (3rd place), Triple Jump (5th place); Lindsey Himes: 100 Meter Hurdles (3rd place), 300 Meter Hurdles (6th place), Pole Vault (4th place); Neve Guerrette: 100 Meter Hurdles (5th place); Olivia Boardman: Pole Vault (3rd place) and Taylor Doyen: Triple Jump (4th place).
The team of Lita Perkins, Presley Rideout, Brooklyn McIntyre, & Gabi Caron finished the 4×100 Meter Relay in 4th place.
Finishing the 4×400 Meter Relay in 3rd place was the team of Cassidy Carlisle, Lindsey Himes, Taylor Doyen, and Adelaide Baser.
