PRESQUE ISLE, Maine — The Central Aroostook Chamber of Commerce will hold its annual Strawberry Shortcake Day on Thursday, June 16.
There’s no better way to kick off the start of summer than enjoying some juicy strawberries, whipped cream and fluffy biscuits. The chamber will sell shortcakes from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., rain or shine, at the North Street Plaza on June 16.
The cost is $5 each.
The chamber will deliver orders of 10 or more shortcakes to businesses located in Ashland, Presque Isle, Easton, Mars Hill, Mapleton, Caribou, Washburn or Fort Fairfield. Deliveries will take place between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.
