CARIBOU, Maine — The Caribou Rehab and Nursing Center has announced a retirement and two promotions.
Bonnie Cyr, RN, has retired as director of nursing after working at the center for 37 years. She spent 34 of those years as nursing director.
“We owe Bonnie a huge ‘Thank you’ for the decades of great leadership she has provided,” said Phil Cyr, administrator.
Christine Raymond, RN, who began her career at the facility 30 years ago as a CNA, has been promoted from assistant director of nursing to replace Cyr as director.
Sherri Parker, RN, who began at the Caribou center 28 years ago as a CNA, will replace Raymond as the assistant nursing director.
“I’m very pleased that we have very capable and talented people to promote from within,” Cyr said.
Raymond makes her home in Stockholm, while Parker lives in Woodland.
