To the editor:
In response to Mr. Kierstead regarding our governor buying votes with the $850 [stimulus checks], there were stimulus checks sent in April 2020 for $1,200 and December 2020 for $600 when Trump was president.
Were these to buy votes in 2020? Apparently it did not buy him enough votes because Biden became president.
If and when he receives his $850, will he be returning it to the governor, since it is not a necessary expenditure for our state?
