HOULTON, Maine – The Houlton High School Class of 1982 will hold 40-year reunion activities Aug. 5-6. All members of the class over the years are welcome to attend the events.
On Friday, Aug. 5, classmates will meet at the “Up Over” (above the Downunder) at the Shiretown Inn & Suites from 5:30-10 p.m. There will be a cash bar available and those who wish can order from the Downunder menu. Pool tables and corn holes are available and there will be many opportunities to catch up and reconnect. To cover space rental, the cost for Friday night is $10 per person. Preregistration is encouraged so the facility can properly staff for the event. Online registration is available on the Houlton High School Alumni Association web site at www.houltonalumni.com where payment can be made by clicking on the 1982 reunion info.
Activities will continue on Saturday, Aug. 6 with a gathering at the home of Karen Theriault Woodbury in Littleton starting at 4 p.m. Those attending are asked to bring a dish and beverage. The evening will be capped off with fireworks. A special corn hole board featuring the artwork from the 1982 yearbook cover will be raffled off to help defer the cost of the fireworks. There is also an option on the Alumni website to make donations toward the cost.
