To the editor:
Thanks to Catholic Charities as we know them in our local communities.
How often do we stop to realize what they do for our area?
Yes, Catholic Charities helps feed The County. Is that wrong? They help to feed the nation. Is that wrong? They help to clothe the needy. Is that wrong? I could go on and on [about] what Catholic Charities does locally and nationwide.
If some people would watch and read what our local newspapers and TV news show us about what Catholic Charities are doing, instead of watching farfetched TV channels that have a tendency to downplay democracy, they may have a good opinion of Catholic Charities.
By choice I am a Protestant but I see great blessings from them.
Catholic Charities, please keep up the work God intended [us to do] as Christians.
