To the editor:
I am writing in support of Danielle Fienberg for the Maine State Senate. Granted, she has an uphill battle against Aroostook royalty, as personified by her opponent. They represent two very different attitudes toward what The County needs.
The incumbent knows best, as is demonstrated by his rejection of the Equal Rights Amendment (he apparently knows what women want more than they do. Go figure). Danielle Fienberg asks for, and listens to, what people on the ground are experiencing in their day-to-day lives.
When you listen to Danielle’s online posts, she is addressing those concerns. When you listen to the Republican candidate, he is addressing his party’s instructions, and has been doing so for his entire career.
Listen to the woman. Always listen to a woman. Look where the men got us.
