DANFORTH, Maine – On Monday, Nov. 7, the East Grand School’s Outdoor Education class was the recipient of a bull moose provided by the Maine Warden Service.

The animal had been illegally shot in the Patten area and confiscated by Game Wardens.

The students learned first hand how to process and package the meat from a moose, with each student able to take home a bag of moose meat that day to help feed their families.
