PRESQUE ISLE, Maine — On Tuesday, Dec. 13, Presque Isle Police responded to a crash on Washburn Road at 2:30 p.m. when a passenger car hit a delivery van.
The car hit the delivery van on the passenger side while the delivery vehicle turned into Pine Village Trailer Park.
A woman who was pregnant and a juvenile were transported by Presque Isle EMS to Northern Light A.R. Gould Hospital with non-life threatening injuries, police said. The driver of the delivery van was uninjured, according to police.
Police say no evidence of speed, alcohol or controlled substances were a factor in the crash. Light snow had accumulated during the day, but it’s unknown if it was a factor in Tuesday’s crash.
The entrance to the trailer park was shut down briefly to move the wrecked vehicle out of the road.
