To the editor:
I was very happy to receive the [state relief payment of] $450, or $900 for my wife and I. It is greatly appreciated and will certainly help with our cost of heating this winter.
I have heard some mention it was not necessary to send the $450 to everyone. These are the citizens of Maine that just aren’t in favor of my Governor Janet Mills.
My advice to those that are against the $450 being sent by our state to just politely send it back to the state of Maine, to the Office of the Governor, 1 State House Station, Augusta, ME 04333-0001.
Thank you, Gov. Mills, for serving as our governor and helping to keep so many Maine people warm this winter, to be happier, healthier and have a more prosperous future.
