AROOSTOOK COUNTY, Maine — For many Aroostook County towns, March means annual town meeting time.
The following towns in the central Aroostook area have reported their meeting details.
Ashland’s town meeting will take place at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, March 21, at the Ashland Recreation Department on Exchange Street.
Blaine residents will meet at 7 p.m. on Monday, March 27, at the Central Aroostook High School Music Room, 26 Pleasant St.
Castle Hill will hold its meeting at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, March 21, at the Mapleton Fire Station, 117 Pulcifur Rd.
In Chapman, the meeting will be at 7 p.m. on Monday, March 27, at the Chapman Ridge Runners Snowmobile Club, 94 Town Hall Rd.
Easton’s meeting is slated at 8 p.m. on Monday, April 3, at the Elementary School gymnasium, 33 Bangor Rd.
Mapleton residents will meet at 7 p.m. on Monday, March 20, at the Mapleton Lions Hall.
Perham residents will gather at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 21, at the Perham Town Office, 206 High Meadow Rd.
The Portage annual town meeting is set at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, March 31, at the Portage Lake and Nashville Plantation Town Office, 20 School St. The meeting follows town elections on March 30.
In Wade, the town meeting will be at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, March 22, at the Washburn Civic Center.
The annual session for Washburn residents will take place at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, March 21, at Washburn District High School, 1359 Main St.
