CARIBOU, Maine — Pines Health Services announced that Mariah Cyr, RN MSN, CNM has joined the Pines Health Services team in the Women’s and Children’s Health Center.
Cyr worked for Cary Medical Center in the obstetrics unit for four years, and earned her certification as a nurse midwife while continuing to work in this capacity.
“We are excited to have Mariah come to the team at Pines,” said Lisa Caron, Pines chief operating officer. “Her experience in Cary’s OB unit will help the transition to her new role go smoothly, and many patients may already know her, which is wonderful for continuity of care.”
Cyr graduated from Frontier Nursing University with her masters of science in nursing and received her nurse midwife certification from the American Midwifery Certification Board. She started her nursing education journey at the University of Maine, Fort Kent.
A County native, Cyr grew up in Madawaska and now lives in Caribou. She enjoys running, playing piano, and spending time with friends and family. She also enjoys reading and aspires to one day write a book about her midwifery experiences.
To schedule an appointment with Cyr, please call 207-498-6921. Pines Women’s & Children’s Health Center is open Monday-Friday with evening hours on Tuesday.
